  Background: The Metacentrix Taipei office is currently expanding to meet client software development needs. This particular role will be serving a client to port their existing hyper converged infrastructure (HCI) product to support ARM. The client is a US based company with large opportunities brewing in the Greater China Region and would like to build a team to support their efforts in penetrating the GCR market.   Description: As part of the client’s efforts to port their existing HCI product to support ARM, they are looking for Metacentrix to hire a team of full-time SDEs. Candidates should be familiar with dev ops and specifically familiar with the following technologies:

Must Haves: C GoLang GNU/Linux Core OS Docker Kubernetes

Bonus: Various Scripting Languages (Python, Bash, etc) Javascript / Frontend Tech

Candidates with experience demonstrating capabilities to do client facing work is preferred. Pure development is 100% of the role in the beginning but once the porting is completed, there will be opportunities to travel and integrate at customer sites.   Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree from Accredited University or Equivalent Experience
• Minimum of 2-3 years as a developer in relevant environment
• Native in written and spoken Chinese
• Proficient in written and spoken English

This particular role will be serving a client to develop iOS applications that control hardware devices via Bluetooth. The client is a Hong Kong based technology company with multiple projects that have extremely high potential.   Description: As part of our client’s efforts to fulfill deadlines of multiple products in development, they are looking for Metacentrix to hire an iOS developer that has experience with communicating and controlling hardware devices via Bluetooth. Successful candidates should be familiar with the following technologies:  

Must Haves: Swift iOS Core Bluetooth Framework Core Data Grand Central Dispatch Git/Github

Bonus: Windows Azure Javascript Android Development

Candidates must be a fluid end-to-end iOS developer starting from in-taking design to actual development, all the way to working with TestFlight, App Store, Provisioning profiles, Code-signing and the Developer portal to launch an iOS app on his/her own.  He or she should also be familiar with human interface guidelines, bandwidth considerations, threading operations, saving and restoring state, and localization.   Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree from Accredited University or Equivalent Experience
• Minimum of 1-2 years as a developer in relevant environment
• Native in written and spoken Chinese
• Proficient in written and spoken English
